While the platform – like Netflix – doesn't release its viewing figures, Titans has received mostly positive reviews from critics.

Many praised the introduction of new characters such as Batman himself Bruce Wayne (played by Game of Thrones' star Iain Glen) and father-daughter duo Rose (Chelsea Zhang) and Slade Wilson (Esai Morales), the latter of which also goes by the name Deathstroke.

Developed by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti, Titans follows Batman's former sidekick Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites), who gives up living in the Dark Knight's shadow as Robin and becomes Nightwing.

The show boasts a whole roster of interesting characters, but some of the other main protagonists include human-demon hybrid Rachel Roth (Teagan Croft), heat-absorbing alien Kory Anders (Anna Diop) and Gar Logan (Ryan Potter), a shapeshifter who possesses the ability to turn into animals.

Titans airs on the DC Universe streaming service in the US, and on Netflix in the UK.
