Dead to Me's Christina Applegate hits back at plastic surgery comment
Dead to Me star Christina Applegate has hit back at a cruel troll claiming that she has had plastic surgery.
Last year, the actress shared publicly that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a lifelong condition that affects the brain and nerves and can cause mobility problems.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday (January 17) following her attendance at the Critics' Choice Awards over the weekend, Applegate shared an online comment that accused her of having plastic surgery over her appearance at the event.
Sooooo I made the unfortunate decision to look at some comments on an article from people mag about me and my kids at the CCA.Of course I told her that it wasn’t nice. This was her reply. What is wrong with people. By the way, I laughed. pic.twitter.com/82De0yPi7o

Last month, Applegate opened up about the moment she received her MS diagnosis, saying on The Kelly Clarkson Show that it "sucked balls".
"I found out on a Monday after work that I had MS, a disease I'm gonna have for the rest of my life," the star recalled.

Explaining that she had been dealing with "very small symptoms" for four years before the diagnosis, she added: "I didn't know what was happening to me. I couldn't walk.
"They had to use a wheelchair to get me to set. I was freaking out. Until someone was like, 'You need an MRI'."
Applegate recently appeared in the third and final season of Netflix's Dead To Me, which adapted around her during filming to accommodate her condition.
