Deadly Fire Engulfs Nightclubs in Murcia
At least 13 people were killed and four were injured after a fire spread between nightclubs in Murcia, Spain, in the early hours of Sunday, October 1, Murcia mayor Jose Ballesta, said.
According to El Mundo, 16 people were reported missing.
According to the news outlet, the fire originated in a club named Fonda Milagros and spread to an adjacent club, named Teatre. Reports said the fatalities were concentrated in Fonda Milagro.
Footage filmed by Nikoloz Meskhi shows firefighters battling the blaze.
Mayor Ballesta declared three days of official mourning in the city of Murcia for the victims of the fire.
