Deadly floods in Spain: 'Scale of human tragedy remains unquantifiable'
Two aid distribution points have been set up in the Spanish town of Paiporta where heavy floods killed some 52 people, almost a quarter of the overall death toll in the southern European country, FRANCE 24's Antonia Kerrigan said. As residents and volunteers remove water from their houses by the bucket, firefighters are working to empty water from flooded underground parking lots, Kerrigan said, adding "the full scale of this human tragedy remains unquantifiable".
