Deadly Strikes Hit Ukraine After Trump-Putin Discussion
At least six people were killed in Ukraine early on November 11, amid reports that US president-elect Donald Trump had told Russian President Vladimir Putin not to escalate the war there.
At least five people were reported killed following Russian strikes on the city of Mykolaiv, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) said.
Footage released by the SES showed emergency crews dousing fires and searching through rubble. Some survivors are seen being tending to by emergency workers.
On the same day, one person was killed and at least 22 people injured after Russian airstrikes targeted the city of Zaporizhzhia, while at least seven people were injured after a Russian missile hit an apartment building in Kryvyi Rih. Credit: SES of Ukraine via Storyful
