Deadly Tornado Causes Major Damage to Hotel in Alabama

At least one person was killed and dozens were injured when a tornado touched down in Alabama on Monday night, January 25.

Many buildings were destroyed or damaged, including a Hampton Inn hotel on Walker Chapel Road, seen in this video.

The National Weather Service (NWS) reported that survey crews found “at least High-End EF-2 Tornado Damage (135 mph winds)” in Fultondale on Tuesday.
