Yahoo News Deadpool 2's Ryan Reynolds would love a Peter spin-off
Deadpool 2 has only just hit cinemas, but naturally there's already talk of a third film.
However, due to the popularity of new character Peter (Rob Delaney) – he has diabetes type 1 and 2 – there may now also be a demand for his own spin-off movie.
Deadpool himself Ryan Reynolds is behind the idea, as he told BBC Radio 1.
"I would love to see a Peter spin-off movie ASAP," he said. "I love Peter. That's probably one of my favourite characters."
Radio 1's Ali Plumb suggested the film could be called "Deadpool 3: I love Peter", before Reynolds offered up "Deadpool 3: Absolutely Peter".
On the subject of wild spin-offs, Reynolds was also asked what he thought of Dogpool, which is an alternate reality version of Deadpool from the comics.
"Dogpool! Now we're getting crazy in terms of branching out," said Reynolds. "You want to keep it sort of small and personal. But Dogpool would be a fun character to incorporate."
Asked if Dogpool should appear in a Peter spin-off, Reynolds jokingly replied: "Absolutely. Pete's an animal lover."
Reynolds also revealed some of the alternative titles for Deadpool 2 – and some of them are amazing.
Amongst them were Escape from Unicorn Mountain, Suburban Commando 2 and, of course, Electric Boogaloo.
"We had a ton of them, like honestly a hundred of them, and it was so amusing to read them all that we sort of forgot to actually put one of them on the thing," he said.
