Deadpool 3 is bringing back two stars from the first two movies to join the expanding cast of the upcoming MCU threequel.

Morena Baccarin, who played Vanessa, and Stefan Kapičić, who played Colossus, are both returning to their respective roles for the upcoming third Deadpool movie. They join Ryan Reynolds in the titular role and Hugh Jackman, who returns as Wolverine.

Meanwhile, The Crown star Emma Corrin will feature as the movie's villain and Succession actor Matthew Macfadyen will also appear, although it's unclear in what role or capacity.

This news follows previous reports that two other original Deadpool actors will appear in Deadpool 3, too. Leslie Uggams and Karan Soni are also returning as Blind Al and Dopinder, respectively, who both appeared in both previous Deadpool outings.

Previously, Jackman opened up about how Wolverine will fit into the Deadpool 3 timeline after his appearance in the hugely-popular solo movie Logan.

"All because of this device they have in the Marvel world of moving around timelines, now, we can go back because it's 'science'. And so I don't have to screw with the Logan timeline, which was important to me, and I think probably to the fans, too," Jackman said.

Meanwhile, Reynolds assured fans that the new movie will protect the Logan legacy and will not interfere with or affect Logan in any way.

"We've figured out a way to do it that's Hugh Jackman-approved and [Marvel Studios boss] Kevin Feige-approved where we're completely protecting the legacy of Logan the way it was left off. I wouldn't mess with that. I'm really excited," he said.

Deadpool and Deadpool 2 are streaming on Disney+, and also available on digital download, DVD and Blu-ray. Deadpool 3, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, has a release date of September 6, 2024.
