Warning: this article contains big spoilers from Avengers: Infinity War.

OK, so we know that the MCU and the Fox Marvel universe of X-Men and Deadpool aren't cinematically connected (for now).

However, Deadpool has jokingly revealed what happened to him after Thanos wiped-out half the life in the universe after getting all the Infinity Stones.

In case you don't remember, the purple Titan's master plan came to fruition at the end of Avengers: Infinity War and we saw half our Marvel faves heartbreakingly disintegrate into thin air before our eyes.

During an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert - we say an appearance, more of an unannounced visit - Deadpool (aka Ryan Reynolds) began to reference Spider-Man's heartbreaking final Infinity War line: "I don't feel well".

He then disintegrated like at the end of Infinity War as he shouted: "What the f**k, Thanos! You don't have the budget for this Colbert!"

Well, it's nice to know Deadpool's final line would have been typically Deadpool-ish had he been involved in Infinity War.

Deadpool 2 has been getting rave reviews ahead of its new release, with many arguing that it is better than the first movie.

Digital Spy gave the Merc with a Mouth's second outing four stars - you can read what we thought right here.

Deadpool 2 is out now in the UK and will be released on May 18 in the US. Book tickets here.
