Deadpool has taken a break from saving the world to take over Good Housekeeping magazine and he's as naughty as ever in its special festive edition.

Sharing his recipes – 'D's Spiced Nuts' and another for his famous 'Creamy Clam Skinny Dip' – the Merc pestered those at the magazine for ages to let him overshare and they finally gave him the go-ahead, mainly to shut Marvel's cheekiest superhero up.

"Deadpool's persistence to be in Good Housekeeping was impressive – initially we had no idea who he was, let alone that he was a fan of the magazine," Jane Francisco, Editor in Chief said.

"But after repeated attempts to ignore his… passion… we came to a compromise. He could appear in one issue, if he promised to stop leaving care packages at our editors' homes and agreed to maintain a 50-foot distance from the Good Housekeeping offices and our staff."

The man himself was delighted: "After years of weekly emails and countless carrier pigeons, Good Housekeeping finally returned my calls.

"And while it's a dream come true, apparently we have vastly different opinions on the definition of a 'holiday spread'…"

Check out the two recipes below (they look delicious):

The magazine cover itself features such article headings as "Giving Your Family the Bird", "'Tis the season to put the FUN back in dysfunctional" and the brilliant "Come for the gifts, stay for the package", as well as him wearing a rather fetching pinny.

However, the special edition won't be available to purchase unfortunately – it's online only.
