Deal struck to keep closure-threatened Stoke restaurant open
A closure-threatened dining experience is staying put - for a further six months. Chef's Table by FEASTED had announced its last meal would be served at ACAVA Spode, in Stoke, on Saturday 19 October.
But the restaurant can now remain at its current site for a further six months. It comes as its move to an 'incredible new location' has been delayed.
Chef Cris Cohen said: “For two years, we have been inviting you up a yellow staircase at the back of the Spode site - a secret location for dining. Nine courses, 10 seats, with people you don’t know. A little while ago, we announced that we were moving - and we are moving to an incredible new location. But not yet. These things take time and our new table is not quite ready. Thankfully, the very kind people at ACAVA have agreed that we can stay here for another six months to continue the deliciousness we've started.

“The journey through the site, the exploration, and the uncertainty of finding this dining experience continues here for another six months. Our festive winter menu is going to be a complete delicious box of delight, perfect for the holiday season. We can’t wait to open that with you.”
