In the wake of Brett's ultimatum, Dean is forced to confess the mess he's in to Colby – if he doesn't help to rob Salt, Willow will be harmed. Colby is behind in his preparations for his disciplinary hearing tomorrow, but decides they will have to wait. His oldest mates are in trouble and he is angry they didn't come to him for help sooner. Looping Willow in only seems to make things worse as she explodes, accidentally admitting her gambling addiction to Colby. However, Colby, Willow and Dean soon begin working together to execute Colby's plan.

The plan is a police sting. It goes against everything Dean believes in, but for Willow he's prepared to compromise "the River Boy code". The sting soon goes awry as Dean arrives to find Ziggy and Brody trying to enjoy some private time after hours at Salt. Before he can usher them out, Brett's thugs arrive.

Secreted away in the storeroom, Ziggy and Brody are then forced to listen as the restaurant is ransacked, while Dean struggles to prevent their discovery. Dean doesn't hesitate to save Ziggy and Brody as the police charge in to arrest everyone, including Dean.

Meanwhile, waiting for word on the sting operation, Willow admits the real reason for her break-up with Dean to Colby and he's not impressed. The friendship between these three is too old and too important to mess with it like that. Ashamed of herself, Willow tries to make amends, but as Dean later admits to Colby that he's as much to blame – he knew she wasn't into him, he just hoped he could change her mind.

Later that day, Colby steels himself to face his tribunal, particularly as he gets word that McCarthy knows all about the sting at Salt – and it's all fair game.

Elsewhere, Maggie urges Ben to help her get out and about, declaring to her family that she's back.

Also today, Coco and Ryder are gifted an opportunity as Maggie and Ben vacate the house for the morning, leaving them all alone. The preparations are in place and the couple are soon face-to-face with nothing standing in their way – but things become awkward. Could it be the universe telling them that they're not ready quite yet to take this important next step in their relationship?
