The family of Sheila Roberts wish to announce her unexpected and sudden death on Friday 11 October 2024, adored wife of the late Ian, cherished and much loved Mum of Paul, Craig, Paula & Mark, much loved Mum-in-law, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sister, Sister-in-law, Auntie, and a brilliant friend and neighbour to many.

Following Sheila's wishes of an 'unattended funeral' the family would love for family, friends and anyone who knew her to attend her 'Celebration of Life' and to share memories and stories on Sunday 15 December 2024 at Lindley Liberal Club, Huddersfield from 1pm to 4pm.

Geoffrey (Geoff) Sutton

Peacefully at home aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Joyce. Loving Dad of Andrew and his partner Keeley, a dear Grandad and Great Grandad. Much loved brother-in-law of Pauline and a good friend of Barbara. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A much loved wife of Norman, loving mum of Richard and Simon, a proud grandma to Stephen, Stefany and Lorna, a dear mother in law to Anne and Carol. Eileen Arnhem Blunt

On 26th November 2024, peacefully at Water Royd Care Home, Barnsley with her family by her side, Eileen aged 79 years of Kirkburton. Former Councillor for Kirklees and the Parish of Kirkburton.

The dearly loved wife of David, a proud and devoted mum of Jax, Jilly, Kierston and the late Katrin, a loving mother in law, a much loved grandma and great grandma and a very good friend to many.

Funeral service at All Hallows' Church, Kirkburton on Thursday 19th December at 1.30 pm followed by committal at Huddersfield Crematorium at 2.45 pm. Family flowers only please.

Marie Rose Butterfield

Peacefully at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary on Friday 22nd November aged 78 years.

Loving Mum of Tracy, Andrea, Rachel and Martin. Adored Grandma and Gran-Gran of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear friend to Jean and loved by all who knew her.

A celebration of Marie's life will take place at Huddersfield Crematorium, Fixby on Tuesday 17th December at 10:30am.

Donations may be made at the crematorium to benefit The Kirkwood and Cancer Research UK.

Nina Crosland

Peacefully after a long illness at home, at Castle Grange Care Home on Wednesday 20th November aged 96 years.

Beloved wife of the late Lewis. Much loved Mum of Peter and Elaine also of the late Janet and dear Mother-in-law of Karen. Adored Nana and Grandnana of Tom, Nina and Fran also Niah, Ruby, Teddy and Eve.

A celebration of Nina's life will take place at Huddersfield Crematorium, Fixby on Wednesday 11th December at 10:00am.

Peacefully at home on the 22nd of November, aged 88 years. She will be very sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Passed away peacefully on the 2nd November 2024, at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, aged 87 years.

Devoted Husband to the late Mary Elizabeth Spencer. Dearly loved Uncle and brother to Peter Spencer.

Freda Rose Crabb

On 19th November 2024 peacefully at Botham Hall Care Home aged 93 years. A much loved wife of the late Reverend John Crabb, loving mum to Paul, Michael and David.

A proud grandma to Nick, Michelle, Rebecca, Rachael, Chris and Timothy, a cherished great-grandma to Benjamin, Joshua, Elliot, Petey and Esmae.

Rosalyn Djordjevic (Miss Ros)

Ros died on 12/11/24, aged 72 years, from pancreatic cancer. Ros remained positive and dignified throughout despite numerous setbacks.

She leaves a husband, Chris, 2 daughters, Marija & Sonje, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 brothers & lots of friends.

She worked for many years at North Huddersfield Trust School (Fartown High School) & loved seeing pupils thrive, particularly helping those who needed it most.

Barbara Jean James

Passed away peacefully, aged 96 years, on the 6th November 2024, at the Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, and of Deighton.

Barbara, the loving wife of the late Bill, much loved mum of Andrew and his partner Heather and a good friend to many.

Joyce Walker (formerly Wade, nee Anderson)

On 20th November 2024 peacefully at home aged 77 years. Beloved mother of Sharon, Vanessa, Matthew and Daniel, loving mother-in-law of Norrel, Jane and Chloe.

A devoted and proud grandma of 10 grandchildren, a dear sister to Paul and a loving auntie, cousin and friend to many.
