The first of eight episodes of series 9 will be set on New Year's Eve, where everyone's fun is cut short when a woman is stabbed in her own home by a masked assailant. The questions are: who was the murderer, and will they be caught before they attack again?

The show is known for its guest stars, and series 9 episode 1 will feature EastEnders stars Nina Wadia and Adrian Edmondson, which already sounds fun.
