'Decatur County's Got Talent' approaches

Mar. 14—GREENSBURG — The Community Healthcare Clinic of Decatur County recently announced details for their first major fundraiser "Decatur County's Got Talent" on April 27.

Poised to become a major social event for the county, the event is at 6 p.m. at Community Church of Greensburg.

Desserts and light hors d'oeuvres will be served, and intermission entertainment will be provided by Nashville recording artists Clayton Anderson and Breanna Faith.

The public is invited to participate in one of four groups: ages 5 through 12, ages 12 through 18, ages 18 and up, and professional.

There is no entry fee for the event, but a video of no more than three minutes should be submitted starting April 1 to dcgt@gmail.com. The deadline to submit a video is April 15.

Three judges from outside the county will review the submissions and choose finalists to appear at the April "Decatur County's Got Talent."

Any family-friendly talent is appropriate for the event. Whether your talent is singing, dancing, twirling a baton, or performing with your animals, all are welcome.

The competition is open to all current Decatur County residents.

Tickets for the event on April 27 are $30 for individuals and $200 for a table of 8.
