Decorated White House Ready for the Holiday Season

Footage of the White House’s extensive holiday decorations and the efforts that went in to preparing for the season was released via YouTube on December 6.

The White House officially unveiled its Christmas decorations on Monday, November 29, with the theme of “Gifts from the Heart” – inspired by “the acts of kindness and experiences that lifted our spirits this year,” First Lady Jill Biden said on Twitter.

In total, the White House has 41 Christmas trees, with around 6,000 feet of ribbon, over 300 candles, and over 10,000 ornaments used. A 360-degree view of the decorations is available to view on Google Street View, the First Lady said. Credit: The White House via Storyful
