A prolific drug dealer is facing the next four years behind bars after he was found guilty of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. Conor Cooke, 22, was arrested after a warrant was carried out at his home back in February this year.
Officers found a large quantity of drugs and £2,460 in cash, and Cooke was subsequently charged with:
Being concerned in the supply of Class A (cocaine)
Being concerned in the supply of Class B (cannabis)
Being concerned in the supply of Class B (ketamine)
Possession with intent to supply Class A (cocaine)
Possession with intent to supply Class B (cannabis)
Possession of criminal property
Cooke, of Brunswick Road, Deepcut, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to four years imprisonment on Monday, September 16 at Guildford Crown Court. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £228 along with the forfeiture of the cash seized.
Investigating Officer, DC Cummins, said: “This result has removed another organised criminal from Surrey’s streets. We are determined to do all we can to protect the vulnerable members of our community from criminals such as Cooke. If you suspect drug dealing, please let us know – your information might be key.”
