Deer Breaks Into Church at Start of Hunting Season in Michigan

A deer broke into Grace Christian Fellowship church in Sturgis, Michigan, on November 15, the opening day of the state’s firearm deer-hunting season.

Paster Amanda Eicher captured the video. She told Storyful she, her husband, and another pastor all walked into the church’s office that morning and noticed some light coming from a darkened window in the auditorium.

“When I peeked inside, I saw the window was broken and heard loud banging. My husband rushed in and found this 10-point buck. On the opening day of the gun season of all days!” said Eicher.

The buck eventually left the building and no injuries were reported, according to the church’s Facebook post. Credit: Amanda Eicher via Storyful
