'Deer' Friends Pay Human a Visit in Snowy Arkansas

An Arkansas resident was paid a visit by some ‘deer’ friends of his at his home, surrounded in snow, on December 13.

Levi Silkwood was enjoying his morning coffee when he spotted the deers strolling just feet from his home in Eureka Springs.

“It is an everyday occurrence. The deer will come right up to the house waiting for food and I do feed them apple flavoured corn,” Silkwood told Storyful.

Silkwood also said that the deers were treasured and protected by the locals.

“The reason we protect them is the spiritual meaning of deer is gratefulness, kindness, and innocence,” Silkwood said. Credit: Levi Silkwood via Storyful
