Deer Frolic Beneath Dusty Pink Sky as 'Worm Moon' Sets in Minnesota

A herd of deer frolicked against the backdrop of a beautiful moonset in Big Stone County, Minnesota, on March 28.

The video, captured by Carol Bauer, shows the animals trotting along as the “Worm moon” sets above them.

According to NASA, the moon appeared at its fullest on Sunday and would be visible overhead until Tuesday, March 30. It gets its name from the time of year, as earthworms become visible again with the thawing of the ground. Credit: Carol Bauer via Storyful
