You Definitely Missed This Major Wardrobe Malfunction at the Emmys Last Night

Former Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe was enjoying the 2018 Emmys from a prime seat in the Microsoft Theater on Monday night when her dress ripped, causing a major wardrobe malfunction smack-dab in the middle of the awards show.

Before the snafu, the looked really good, FYI. It was a form-fitting, plunging black number with an embellished collar and back detail that was very sparkly and pretty. Here it is in its former glory:

Let's allow Kaitlyn's tweets to explain how it all went awry: "Sitting in the emmys and my zipper just busted and my butt is exposed and I can't get up and I dunno what to do," she said, keeping fans updated in real-time. "It all opens up when I stand up. Right down to mid crack."

She also shared a photo of her unfortunate circumstance:

Perhaps her biggest quandary was whether or not to stand and clap when everyone else was, or stay "seated and [look] like an ass."

Thankfully, a nice couple sitting next to her let her cover up with one of their jackets every time she had to stand, which was decent of them.

Her situation got worse, though: "Here's the kicker. I'm in the wrong seat and people are asking me to move... They came and got us and moved us closer to the front, so I had to get up and waddle down in front of everyone, towards the front with my hands clasping my dress."

For those of you asking, apparently no one in the audience had any extra pins to spare-Kaitlyn asked.
