Delays warning over closure of busy routes in Nuneaton and Bedworth
Several main routes in Nuneaton and one in Bedworth are due to be closed in the coming weeks. Traffic orders have been put in place by warwickshire-county-council>Warwickshire County Council ahead of the works.
Some of them are due to come into force on Monday (November 18). This includes closures in Briardene Avenue and Gibson Crescent in Bedworth.
Also Westbury Road over in Nuneaton followed by, later in the month, Queen Elizabeth Road in Camp Hill. The closures are being put in place for works to take place safely.

The closures are as follows:
Briardene Avenue and Gibson Crescent, Bedworth
Briardene Avenue will be closed in its entirety from its junction with Tower Road. Gibson Crescent will be closed from its junctions with Briardene Avenue.
This is for footway reconstruction, kerbing and associated works. Works are set to be carried out in two phases. 8am until 5pm-weekdays only. Works will be carried out in two phases: Briardene Avenue from Monday, November 18 November until December 6 between 8am and 5pm, and Gibson Crescent from December 9 to 20 between 8am and 5pm.
Westbury Road, Nuneaton
The road closed is set to be closed to traffic from November 18 until November 19. This is so that contractors can remove and relay defective patch and complete over banding.
There will be a diversion in place along Westbury Road, Haunchwood Road, Tomkinson Road and Croft Road. Also the footpath from Fair Isle Drive to Croft Road, Arbury Road and vice versa.
Queen Elizabeth Road, Nuneaton
The road is set to be closed for Severn Trent Water to make chamber repairs within a manhole. The closure will come into force on December 2 and last until December 5.
Access and diversion will be Queen Elizabeth Road, Tuttle Hill, Camp Hill Road, Bucks Hill and vice versa. For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
