Motorists are being warned about delays as a five day long lane closure is about to start on a main route into Nuneaton. Chilvers Rise, heading towards the town centre, will be down to one lane from Thursday (June 27).

The closure will be in place from 8am until 4pm every day until Monday, July 1. Warwickshire County Council has agreed the Severn Trent roadworks.

It says the lane closure is needed for utility repair and maintenance works. It is one of a number of planned roadworks taking place across the town this week.
