'Delicious' 15 minute stew recipe with just four ingredients

A "delicious" dinner recipe that takes less than 20 minutes to cook is amassing dozens of top reviews online. With most of us busy with work, looking after families, and household chores, it can be tricky deciding what to cook for an evening meal. And that's before you even begin to prepare the dish.

But one BBC Good Food recipe has an average online rating of five out of five stars, with more than 150 glowing reviews. Food author Esther Clark, who trained at Leith's School of Food and Wine, worked as a chef on a farm in Italy and has also written a cookbook, posted the comforting dish to the popular site. Not only is it quick and easy to make, it is full of goodness too.

The butter bean and chorizo stew takes five minutes to prepare and then 15 minutes to cook. One reviewer said: "Very good recipe, delicious" and a second said: "A nice hearty meal, always clean plates when I make this!"

A third added: "Very nice but I add onions and peppers".

Method:

Slice the chorizo and fry gently over a medium heat for five minutes. Add the tomatoes and butter beans before bringing to the boil.

Simmer for 10 minutes and then swirl through the pesto. Season lightly and ladle into four bowls.

Each serving contains 491 calories, as well as 23g of protein.
