Deliveroo: The top London restaurants still delivering food on the platform during lockdown

While many industries in London have ground to a halt as a result of the lockdown, the restaurant world is determined not to be one of them.

Delivery services have become a lifeline in London over the past couple of weeks – both for those who are trying to leave the house as little as possible (as we all should be), and for the restaurants who are souping up their meals-on-wheels offering to stay afloat during a financially difficult time.

In a few relatively short years, Deliveroo has amassed a colossal number of the capital’s restaurants, from fine dining to fast food chains.

Due to the government’s new restrictions to combat the spread of coronavirus, some restaurants have paused delivery on the platform – but many have not, and probably more than you think.

To show you just how many top notch meals you can still get delivered to your door on the platform, we’ve listed some of our favourite restaurants still sending out fabulous food via Deliveroo – from Michelin-starred dumplings to an independent replacement for your Nando’s fix.

Delivery radius varies, so we’ve grouped them into rough London areas to help – click on the link and type in your postcode to see if that restaurant location can deliver to you. There are many, many other restaurants on the site, so if you see a favourite you think we’ve missed, pop an email to ailis.brennan@standard.co.uk.
