Delivery driver faces 'crazy' road signs in Cambridgeshire town
A Wisbech delivery driver found herself face to face with a laughably confusing set of road signs in her town. Jo Milne was driving through Wisbech on Monday, November 18, when she came to the junction that connected Dowgate Road with Sutton Road.
Just before the traffic lights, there were three signs lined up: one that directed diverted traffic forwards, two that pointed cars to the left and one that pointed them to the right. Jo commented: "I’m a delivery driver so I see stupid signs all the time, but this setup was crazy even for Wisbech."
After she posted the photograph on a public, Wisbech-based Facebook group, many locals took the opportunity to contribute to make light of the situation. A few people said: "Take your pick", while one person said: "Look closer and it makes perfect sense. Drive forward, turn left around the pothole, turn right to avoid next pothole and then turn right at traffic lights."
