Demand For COVID-19 Testing Surges in New York Ahead of Thanksgiving

New Yorkers faced hours-long wait times for coronavirus tests as demand surged ahead of Thanksgiving, reports said.

This footage, posted to Twitter by Olivier Barth, shows a long line of people waiting outside a CityMD facility in the Cobble Hill area of Brooklyn on November 23.

Barth said he waited five hours for a test at the location.

Gothamist reported that CityMD offers free testing at 76 urgent care centers across the city.
