Demi Lovato addresses nude photo leak in epic Twitter diss
Demi Lovato became the latest victim of nude photo hacking this week – but she’s just responded to her hackers in the best possible way.
Spoiler alert: She’s totally chill over the whole situation.
According to reports, several private photos of the Confident singer were leaked online over the past few days, including one racy photo that shows her in bed wearing an unzipped Adidas hoodie.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, the 24-year-old star, who recently celebrated five years of sobriety, candidly responded to the controversy, pointing out that the explicit snaps were not all that risqué.
“I love how everyone’s freaking out about one picture. It’s not nude and it’s just cleavage,” she tweeted to her 41.8 million followers.
In a follow-up tweet, Demi pointed out that she’s actually given consent for nude photos of herself to be published in the past, referring to her now-iconic photoshoot for Vanity Fair in October 2015.
The former Disney Channel star then poked further fun at the leaked picture while also proving that her hash tag game is strong, writing: ‘Nice try’, ‘my boobs aren’t even that big’ and ‘angles’, all preceded by the # sign.
Demi joins a long list of a-list stars who have been targeted by online hackers recently, including Emma Watson and Amanda Seyfried, who are both currently seeking legal action over the breach of their privacy.
