Demi Lovato has been through a lot these past few years. She was basically bullied off of Twitter after all the backlash with those 21 Savage tweets. She's been open about her struggles with eating disorders, substance use and other forms of self-harm. Not to mention her overdose in July, 2018. She's really been through it. But we all love a comeback and Demi is ready to make hers. Not only is she about to perform at Super Bowl LIV next month the 2020 Grammys, but she's rumored to release her next album this year.

According to TMZ, Demi is already working on the tracks which will focus on her journey through recovery to sobriety. The album will reportedly talk about her overdose and time in rehab where she was said to have gone directly after her resulting hospital stay from the overdose. We may even have some tour dates to look out for but nothing about a tour has been confirmed just yet. If everything goes according to plan, the album should hit store shelves by the summer.

This is definitely a big deal for Demi since this will be the first album she's released since she almost died from that overdose. What caused it was never confirmed, but TMZ also said it might have been oxycontin laced with fentanyl.

Luckily, it looks like Demi has been in a much better place. She recently got baptized in Israel and made it to one year of sobriety last July. Congrats to Demi!
