Demi Lovato has been keeping a relatively low profile since her stay in rehab, but she just posted on Instagram for the second time since leaving treatment, and her message is super empowering.

She posted a post-workout picture along with the hashtag #nevergiveup, and she looks fresh-faced, healthy, and like she's absolutely slaying the jiu jitsu game.

The only other time she's posted on the platform in the last three months was when she encouraged her followers to vote in the midterm elections in November. She wrote that she was grateful to be home in time to do so.

If you're going to break your social media silence for any reason, doing your civic duty seems like a pretty good one, right? Especially when you have 70 million followers watching and listening to what you have to say.

In case you need a refresher, Demi suffered an overdose this past July, and has been working on her recovery ever since. Earlier this autumn, Demi's mother Dianna De La Garza told reporters that Demi had reached the 90-day sober mark.

"She has 90 days and I couldn't be more thankful or more proud of her because addiction, being a disease, is work. It's very hard and there are no shortcuts," she said.

From the looks of it on Instagram, that hard work is paying off!
