Demi Lovato called out the commander-in-chief in her latest single and now, she's taking that exact same energy to the polls. You simply, love to see it.

Weeks after releasing her powerful new political song, Demi has cast her vote in the 2020 presidential election and is calling on fans to do the same. She shared a moving message, explaining why it's so important for US citizens use their voice to take action and create change.

"I vote because I love my country. From my friends and family members who live here, to my neighbors and millions of people I don’t know, I love the citizens here. This year I’ve been so stressed and anxious from politics alone. This post isn’t about telling you to vote for, it’s about telling you to vote PERIOD. I want to know that whatever the outcome is, we raised our voices and spoke up for what we wanted. And if change is what you want, nothing will change unless you take action. So please, if you are old enough, please get out there and speak up. P.S. I’m so grateful to have been able to vote because it wasn’t too long ago women didn’t even have those rights.. (see what happens when we demand change? 😜☺️) 🙏🏼 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙"

Sharing selfies directly from the voting booth (which is legal in California, but can disqualify your vote in other states), Demi documented the moment, wearing a "VOTE" mask and a wonderfully *fall* outfit to go along with it.

Dressing for both style and comfort (cause those voting lines can stretch), the singer wore a boyfriend blazer, mom jeans, a vintage-inspired graphic tee, and lug-sole boots. She rounded out the look with the ONLY accessory we care about in 2020: a shiny new "I VOTED" sticker.
