Demonstrators Fill Streets in Washington to Protest Police Brutality

Demonstrators filled the streets of Washington, DC, on June 2 to protest police brutality following the officer-involved death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

Protesters can be heard in this video chanting and clapping while many can be seen holding placards with messages like “police the police” and “black lives matter.”

The protest march was one of many – sometimes violent – demonstrations held across the United States and the world against police killings of black people. Credit: @run_for_funner via Storyful
