Demonstrators Gather in Paris to Protests Anti-Semitic Attacks

Thousands of people took part in a protest in Paris on February 19 following an anti-Semitic attack at a Jewish cemetery in eastern France in which swastikas were spray painted on tomb stones, the latest in a series of such incidents.

The protest was one of several held across France on that date.

French President Emmanuel Macron visited the Quatzenheim cemetery in Alsace on February 19 and wrote on Twitter that anti-Semitism is the negation of what France is.
