Demonstrators Rally to 'Count Every Vote' in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Demonstrators marched in the streets of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on November 4, demanding officials count every vote as Pennsylvania’s ballots continued being tallied.

Footage shows demonstrators walking down Market Street, holding a banner reading “Count Every Vote.”

The protest comes in response to President Donald Trump’s claim on November 4 he had won the election before all the votes were counted.

“We’ll be going to the U.S. Supreme Court, we want all voting to stop,” Trump said shortly after polls closed in Alaska. “We don’t want them to find any ballots at 4 o’clock in the morning and add them to the list.”

Local news reported that the Trump campaign said it filed lawsuits Wednesday in the states of Pennsylvania and Michigan, “demanding better access for campaign observers to locations where ballots are being processed and counted” and in Pennsylvania, “seeking to intervene in a Pennsylvania case at the Supreme Court that deals with whether ballots received up to three days after the election can be counted.” Credit: @literary_witch via Storyful
