'Dendrites' Fall Over Spokane, Washington, Amid Winter Weather Advisory

Snow continued to fall over east Washington on December 30, as The National Weather Service (NWS) reported sightings of “big dendrites” at their office in Spokane, video shows.

“Dendrites” are described by NASA as “tree-like” snow crystals.

The NWS said that a winter weather advisory remained in effect until 11 am on Friday. The service warned of “slippery road conditions” and advised drivers to use caution. Credit: NWS Spokane via Storyful
