Watch: Denise Richards quits 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’
Denise Richards has quit The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Variety has confirmed.
According to the publication, the actor – who joined the hit reality series back in 2018 – will not be returning for the next season after several bust-ups with the existing cast left her feeling "miserable."
Her most notable feud during her time on the show was with Brandi Glanville, who, despite not having been a predominant player on RHOBH since 2015, caused drama in its tenth season by suggesting on camera that she and married Richards had embarked on a one-night stand together.
While Richards vehemently denies the "open marriage" claims, the explosive accusation split the Housewives fandom completely, what with some supporting Glanville, others backing Richards and a third group condemning the former for airing the Hollywood star's business in the first place.
As for the cast, the majority suggested that Richards made things deliberately tricky for herself when it comes to monitoring what was being aired in season 10, as she talked so openly about her sex life with husband Aaron Phypers on the preceding instalment.
She even came to blows with longtime friend Lisa Rinna in the finale, when Rinna asked her about a cease-and-desist order she'd allegedly sent to US broadcaster Bravo.
Across her career, Richards has appeared in a number of movies including Starship Troopers, Wild Things, and James Bond outing The World is Not Enough, where she played a nuclear physicist named Dr. Christmas Jones.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Bravo is the US, and on ITVBe and Hayu in the UK.
