Denver's Mongolian Wild Horses Enjoy Colorado Snowstorm

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a winter weather advisory for Denver on Friday, February 7, as a winter storm passed over Colorado.

Local media said the city’s snowfall total for the season was seven inches above average on February 8.

Denver Zoo shared this video of Przewalski’s horses, also known as Mongolian wild horses, enjoying the snow on Friday. The zoo said the “rare and endangered” horses are native to Mongolia, where temperatures can fall well below freezing. Credit: Denver Zoo via Storyful
