The judges could not separate Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder when they fought for the first time in Los Angeles in 2018, and the bookmakers are also struggling to split them before their rematch in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Prices vary, with evens the biggest price on offer for both fighters, but the majority of layers make Fury and Wilder 10/11 chances with another draw available for around 20 or 22/1.

Fury's skill as a boxer was evident during in the first fight when most observers gave him the majority of the rounds, but Wilder's punching power put the Gypsy King on the canvas in the ninth and 12th.

With both fighters stating they are chasing knockouts and telling punters to expect fireworks, it has the potential to be the most spectacular heavyweight bout in two decades.

The winner of the contest at the MGM Grand could go on to face Anthony Joshua in a unification fight later in the year, although as ever negotiations are likely to be complex.

An early stoppage?

Punters always like to cheer on an early knockout, but given the parity between Fury and Wilder in the first fight it seems an unlikely outcome.

The odds reflect that with as big as 100/1 on offer for Fury to win by knockout in the first round, and between 50 and 66/1 for Fury to KO Wilder in rounds two or three.

If there is to be an early knockout, the bookmakers think it is most likely to come from the right hand of Wilder. He is priced between 22 and 25/1 to win by KO within the first three rounds. The shortest price on a KO is Wilder in the seventh or eighth.

Will the fight go all the way?

The odds are against the fight going the full 12 rounds, with bookmakers pricing up at around 4/7 for the bout to end before then. You can get a top price of 5/4 on the fight ending before then by either fighter. Fury has gone the distance 10 times in his career but Wilder just twice, including the drawn first meeting between the pair.

Method of victory

If you find the 10/11 about Fury to win the fight too skinny, he can be backed at 9/2 to win this fight by knockout, technical knockout or disqualification and 7/4 to win on points or technical decision.

It’s a best price of 5/4 that Wilder is victorious by knockout, technical knockout or disqualification and 10/1 that he wins on points.
