Deputies Rescue Dogs From Pool in Douglas County, Georgia

Two sheriff’s deputies in Douglas County, Georgia, came to the rescue of two dogs trapped in a pool on August 24.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies Michael Aziz and Elias Johnson arrived on the scene and found the huskies exhausted and treading water.

“There wasn’t time to wait for animal control to arrive with the proper tools to pull the dogs out of the water,” the sheriff’s office wrote in a Facebook post. “Dep. Aziz used a blanket to pull the first dog out of the pool and saved the second dog by pulling it out by the collar.”
