Derby County hit by fresh injury woe and Paul Warne says 'it's a blow'
Paul Warne fears that Derby County left-back Callum Elder has suffered a groin injury and admits the defender's absence is a "blow".
The Australian had to be replaced in the second half of Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Sheffield United who secured all three points from Gus Hamer's free-kick.
Elder looked in considerable discomfort when he made his way to the dugout and it is likely that he will now be sent for a scan to determine the severity of the problem.

It comes at a rotten time for the ex-Leicester City defender who has been one of the standout performers of the season so far.
And it is hot on the heels of losing David Ozoh until after the international break due to a hamstring injury.
Speaking after the game, Warne said: "Callum felt his groin when he got corkscrewed up for the penalty claim in the second half. He signalled the bench and we tried to get him off. And in the epitome of sod's law, they take him on again and he then just overstretches.
"I think, and by asking the player if he is okay and they say no or not bad gaffer, his face when he said no suggests to me he has done his groin which is a blow for him and the team. He's been great."
