A parcel of Leicestershire land with "potential for development" will be sold at auction later this month. Auctioneers say the green space is in a "desirable" location for would-be buyers.

The parcel of land, in Old Dalby's Longcliffe Hill, near Melton, forms part of the latest auction lots from SDL Property Auctions. Sellers say the land, which is approximately 200 sqm, has historically been used for the growing of fruit and vegetables, but now has the "potential for development". This is subject to relevant planning permission though.

The corner plot, which is located opposite the junction of Debdale Hill, is said to be in a highly "desirable" Leicestershire village location according to SDL Property Auctions. Subject to future permissions being granted, they say it is ideally located six miles north west of Melton and nine miles north east of Loughborough.

Access to the site via a wooden gate directly off Longcliff Hill, with no know rights of way or service on the site. The land has a guide price of £25,000 plus fees.

The Old Dalby land will be auctioned off on Thursday, January 30. More information can be found on the SDL Property Auctions website.
