Detectives probe 'serious assault' outside Flames takeaway in Blackpool

Lancashire Police have released CCTV imagery of two men they wish to speak with in connection to a serious assault.

At around 3.05am on Sunday, September 29, officers received a report of an assault outside Flames takeaway on Queen's Square in the seaside town. Although the incident was a few months ago, police are asking members of the public for their help with enquiries.

To better assist them, the force have released images of two men they wish to speak to. The police stated they wanted to speak with a second man in relation to the same assault and have shared a new image.

A spokesperson stated: "We appreciate this happened some time ago, and whilst we have been making enquiries since that date, we are now asking for your help."

If anyone recognises the men in the images or witnessed the incident, they should contact police. Also, if anyone has any footage or information that could assist officers in their enquiries, they should call 101 quoting log 188 of 29th September 2024.
