Devastated family pay tribute to motorcyclist who died following Flintshire crash
The devastated family of a motorcyclist, who died following a Flintshire crash, have a paid a tribute to him.
Simon Paul Williams, 33, was travelling on the A541 on September 10, when he was involved in a collision with a car, near the junction with the B5123 at Rhydymwyn, near Mold.
Mr Williams, a mobile plant operator, of Fourth Avenue, Flint, was airlifted to Aintree Hospital, but died two days later, the opening of his inquest heard.

During the brief hearing in Ruthin John Gittins, senior coroner for North Wales East and Central, said that no post-mortem examination was necessary as doctors in the hospital had given the cause of death as a traumatic brain injury.
His family have now released a statement which said: "Simon Paul Williams Aged 33: Leaves behind his mother, two brothers and sister in law and extended family. Passed away surrounded by family & friends at Aintree hospital. Thursday 12th September.’’
