Devastation as fitness studio 'lost' in town centre fire where woman 'in building'
A fitness studio in a Lincolnshire town has been 'lost' after a fire broke out in the town centre. Firefighters and police have been at the scene in Market Place since the fire broke out earlier this evening (Wednesday, February 5).
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue warned locals to keep their windows and doors shut due to the amount of smoke. Sally Butler from The Courthouse with Move Forward Fitness studio in Sleaford shared this post from the studio's official Facebook page, a few hours after the fire began: "This is so hard to write right now but I’m devastated to tell you that we’ve lost our beloved studio and everything in it, to a fire ….
"I can’t answer your messages right now so please accept my apologies, the classes you’ve booked are obviously having to be cancelled and I’ll organise any refunds in due course. I’ll post again about any future plans soon once I’ve started to come to terms with losing the business I’ve worked so hard to create over the last ten years.

"Luckily I was the only one in the building and noticed smoke coming through the walls and got out, with the help of one of my lovely ladies alerting me to the roof being on fire. I love you all , and I’ll be back."
The fire service said earlier tonight: "Crews are currently responding to reports of a fire in Market Place, Sleaford. We are advising all residents in the area keep doors and windows shut due to the amount of smoke."
