Devotees allow cows to trample on them in a unique ritual in India

In a traditional festival in India, devotees have allowed dozens of cows to trample over them in Dasai village in Madhya Pradesh. The footage filmed during the Dhok Parva festival on November 5 shows several villagers lying on the ground while the elaborately decorated cows are guided to walk over them. The traditional belief is that participating in the ritual will help you get your wishes come true and the villagers say that usually no one gets hurt in the colourful spectacle.
