Did Ed Sheeran Secretly Get Married?

Ed Sheeran fans are seriously freaking out this morning after a photo of the red-haired singer was posted to social media and he appeared to be wearing a wedding ring.

Wait, what??

The star famously took a break from fame back in December, posting a statement on Twitter that explained that he was hoping to stay out of the spotlight for a while and only sporadically being spotted since.

Earlier this month Ed’s pal Taylor Swift took to social media to share a photo of Ed’s one-year anniversary celebration with girlfriend Cherry Seaborn, but was there more to the celebration that meets the eye?

Y'see, last night his friend Jovel shared a photo of Ed at his 5-year-old daughter’s birthday party and Ed appeared to be making a point for a certain ring to be on show.

Captioning the snap, Jovel wrote: “My baby girls 5th birthday party was lit! Even both godparents were in attendance finally lol”.

However, fans were more concerned by the glisten of silver on Ed’s left ring finger, posting on social media: “I’m just saying…he’s showing that ring off in the pic. So, the question is WHY?

"PAUSE WHY IS ED SHEERAN WEARING A WEDDING RING?

"ED SHEERAN WAS WEARING A RING ON HIS LEFT HAND TODAY I WILL BE SO P*SSED IF HE GOT MARRIED.”

“Investigate the ring on Ed Sheeran’s ring finger.”
