As soon as the Imperial March blares over a Star Wars scene, you know about it - you also know Darth Vader is somewhere close by.

It's as synonymous with big-screen baddies as the EastEnders theme is with soap operas.

Anyway, a very clever fan has discovered a huge Easter egg in the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story soundtrack - it seems like the famous track IS hidden in the spinoff film.

The fan wrote: "Sure *seems* like @m_giacchino hid the Imperial March in #RogueOne's "Hope," doesn't it? (h/t Brian N. Le)."

It seems when they doubled the speed in the Michael Giacchino-composed track 'Hope', you can clearly hear 'Imperial March' which is just amazing.

It was recently revealed that one of Rogue One's best scenes was only added at the last minute - with the Vader lightsaber madness only just making the cut.

"What was added - and it was a fantastic add - was the Vader action scene, with him boarding the ship and dispatching all those rebel soldiers," editor John Gilroy said.

"That was something conceptualised a little later."

And looking at some of the early trailers for the film, it's clear to see some of the changes that were made to the movie later on down the line.
