Did Simon Cowell just take a dig at new X Factor rules?
It's fair to say that The X Factor's new rules have caused quite a lot of talk this year.
Many have taken a dig at the idea of double eliminations, which were scrapped at the last minute last weekend before being brought back this week.
However, we never thought we'd hear criticism from the very top, and on tonight's (November 18) live show that seemed to be the case.
OK, so we imagine it was in jest, but Simon Cowell certainly seemed frustrated that not one but TWO acts would be leaving the competition tonight.
Following an original song performance by his own Group The Cutkelvins - one of five acts tonight - Simon expressed disappointment that there was a higher probability of them being voted off.
"It's just occurred to me that we'll lose two people tonight," he said.
"I don't know who agreed to that?"
Some people were left slightly confused by his comments:
Wat is Simon Cowell on about 'who agreed to 2 acts going tonight'?it's his bloody show ain't it!#xfactor
