Warning: This article contains major spoilers for the latest episode of The Walking Dead, 'The Lost and The Plunderers'.

The Walking Dead gave us a hint earlier this season that a helicopter may come into play, though we are still scratching our heads as to how and, more specifically, who it belongs to.

If you remember, in episode five a helicopter was spotted flying towards a trash heap, though last night's episode 'The Lost and The Plunderers' may have unveiled the mystery surrounding it.

At one point in the episode, Simon asks Jadis: "What's up with the helipad?" – though she doesn't answer the question.

This may be a BIG hint that Jadis has access to the vehicle, and is perhaps planning to use it to kill a whole load of characters.

After all, Jadis doesn't have any allegiances at the moment after double-crossing Rick, then getting her Scavengers wiped out by Simon and the Saviors in last night's episode.

While she has no friends left, perhaps a superior weapon to enact revenge may prove deadly for both Negan and Rick's sides? We'll just have to wait and see.

Last year, actress Pollyanna McIntosh hinted that the previous helicopter shot could be more than meets the eye, telling HuffPost: "I can't say anything.

"You either talk about a studio screw-up or you talk about a possible thing that might be part of a story, so either way I'm not doing the show justice."

While last night's episode tried to move on from Carl's devastating death last week, it seems many viewers were still not over the loss.

Still, things got pretty action-heavy as Jadis was forced to lure her comrades into a meat grinder after they were reanimated as walkers.

As for Jadis' path forward, McIntosh has now hinted that her character could shave her head and become Whisperer leader Alpha, telling ComicBook.com: "Yeah, of course.

"I don't know what it would look like under there, because I've cracked my head open twice, so I've got lots of stitches!"

The Walking Dead airs tonight (March 5) at 9pm on Fox in the UK and continues with season 8, episode 11 'Dead Or Alive Or' on March 11 on AMC.
