Didier Drogba has joked that he will rejoin Chelsea on loan to help beat Arsenal in the FA Cup final.

The Ivorian was mobbed by fans upon his arrival in the USA on Saturday as he prepares to make his debut for Pheonix Rising, but is ready for another short move to help out Antonio Conte & Co.

Drogba, who spent nine seasons at Stamford Bridge over two spells, watched as the Gunners set up a Wembley date with Chelsea and is keen to extend his impressive goalscoring record over the north London outfit.

In all eight games in which Drogba has scored against Arsenal, Chelsea ran out winners. Would be make the perfect ace up Conte's sleeve?

Drogba has scored 16 goals against Arsene Wenger's side across six different competitions for three different teams, the last one coming while playing for MLS All-Stars last summer.

The 39-year-old scored 13 goals for Chelsea against Arsenal, twice for Galatasaray in the 2013 edition of the Emirates Cup and, most recently, in San Jose.

Could Drogba still do a job for Chelsea? Can't be much worse than Diego Costa's current output.
